Not nearly as good as a Bentley Publishing Repair Manual, but good enough for light to moderate work. A lot of generalized instructions which require prior review to understand what you are looking at and what you need to do. They use grainy black and white photos to illustrate the work area. Bentley Manuals have a lot of simplified drawings which represent the primary masses and objects you are looking at. Easy to orient yourself and get to work readily. Since a Bentley Publishing MGB Manual was not available, this was the next best option.
Lets face it.... cars are a luxury, therefore an expense. The simple fact is, no matter how you look at it, even if your car runs perfect all the time, you still have to put gas in it to make it go. Expense! But who's car runs perfect all the time? If you have one, let me know so I can get one too! But honestly, at some point in time your car needs some attention. Whether it is the simple oil change, brakes, or something more difficult, wouldn't it be nice to do it yourself as opposed to shelling out a bunch of cash to have someone else do it for you? The Haynes line of repair manuals are perfect for the novice level and up do it yourselfers! Not only do they put the tasks in an easy to understand text, they use excellent photographs to accompany the written repair. Making this a extremely valuable asset to someone with a little motivation to save themselves some hard earned money!Read full review
